Association of Interventional Pulmonology

 

The Society of Interventional Pulmonology aims to disseminate newly developed treatment methods and to train trained chest physicians. The Society of Interventional Pulmonology aims to train specialists trained in interventional bronchoscopy and to ensure a more effective and widespread use of interventional bronchoscopy by organizing symposiums and courses that include theoretical and practical workshops at international standards. For this purpose, it has organized therapeutic bronchoscopy symposiums and courses in which “Jean Francois DUMON”, the first performer of Endobronchial laser surgery in the World, the father of interventional bronchoscopy, and the creator of “Dumon Silicone Stents”, was hosted. In addition, every week, courses on resector balloon and COPD balloon techniques were held for chest physicians. Certificates are given to participating specialist physicians. The process I started to develop interventional bronchology at the international level has been going on since 2003.
